Road Trip!

Got to spend the day with my best friend! It doesn't get to happen as often as we'd like. Sure, we have girls' nite every Thursday and that's great. But this was so much better. No real time limit. No kiddo talking over us the entire time. Other than the rain, the day was perfect.

Oh wow, these are gorgeous examples of how outdoor gardening can still be a visual feast without overpowering the available space!

It was so beautiful. I don't even have words to tell you how beautiful it was. Everywhere that we turned there was more. And 15 yrs ago, it was a blank slate. none of those structures were there. She'd brought them all in, including the full sized windmill that I didn't get a picture of. I can't wait to go back!

It was so beautiful! My favorite was the gazebo w/ the red mulch & lt green hosta. The pic doesn't do it justice.
