3 nen B gumi Kinpachi Sensei is a lengthy drama about a dedicated junior high teacher who will do everything for his students, the class of 3-B. Season 6 features two of NEWS' members -- Shigeaki Kato and Takahisa Masuda.

Shige as Hasegawa Ken Son of a lawyer and student of class 3-B. He has two best friends in class, plays nice to all the ladies and catches the attention of the new female transfer student, Tsuromoto Nao (played by Ueto Aya).

I was amused to see Shige in his first acting role. Though this wouldn't be the first time (I already saw Gekidan Engimono - Iee ga Toi).

Favourite Scenes:
1. During Ken's first encounter with Nao. He could actually play soccer?? XD
2. Hasegawa Ken holding the foam sword (whatever it's called) and batting Tadashi's head
3. The many times he stood up for Nao, and reprimanding her how a lady should act.
4. Ken's moments at home and at the park ("Holland-o. Sugoi.") when he replies to Nao's emails.

Massu a Nagasawa Kazutoshi - A student of class 3-B who's ultimate dream is to join Tour de France. He loves to bike and uses his hobby to earn money through delivering newspapers every morning. He becomes a loyal friend to the new male transfer student, Narusako Masanori (played by Toushin Yoshizaku) and Nao.

I would have posted more Massu screencaps but he was playing a supporting role in this drama, thus he had fewer appearances than Shige. There are too cute moments though that I am about to make into GIFs.

Favourite Massu Scenes:
1. Whe Kazutosh met Kinpachi sensei and Naomi on the way. He greeted Naomi with a smile and encouraged her to go back to school saying something along this line - "We'll be waiting for you at school, Naomi"
2. In the fire scene where he rescued Tadashi along with Masanori and Nobuta. These 3 become the best of friends afterwards.
3. During 3-B's graduation ceremony. He stood by Nao, being the first one to offer his uniform just so she could receive her diploma. He made a stubborn look at the principal as he received his.
4. Soranbushi dance!

Overall, I loved the drama. Though it was pretty boring at first, there were so many exciting scenes towards the last part. Episode 18 and 19 and the Graduation Ceremony were my faves. Kinpachi sensei's words touched my heart but the bond of friendship 3B shared moved me to tears. This reminds me so much of our high school days
