GCS Scene with Rebel Leaders

"We're not getting anywhere!" Grant said angrily, finally voicing the prevailing attitude of the room. "We work and we plan but we don't make a damn bit of progress."

Rusty sighed. "You're right. You're absolutely right. It's like we're pawns in some greater game." He chuckled ironically. "We're not even working toward our own cause."

Grant shook his head. "It all feels so futile."

Rochester sat silently as his two companions continued their lament. As stubborn as he was and as much as he hated to admit it, they were right. Was the mysterious backer behind all of it? Had the military somehow influenced their path? Or, were they inadvertently doing it to themselves? Why did they still seem to be going nowhere? No matter how hard he tried, all his plans met with disaster. No matter what he did, he always met with utter failure.

Aww, poor Rochester. He truly believes that he's doing the right thing by fighting the military. Even though it was Titian who orchestrated all that happened to his family, everyone was led to believe that it was the military's fault. Rochester is probably the most stubborn character in the whole story. No... he IS the most stubborn character. Rusty's a really great guy. He's still kind of naive, but he's very kind. Not the most natural leader ever, but he still manages because his team trusts him.

That's all! *beam*

MAKE IT SPARKLE, BABY! (-hj)

grant, possibly a version will be in the story, the rebels, rebel leaders, short, giant cliche story, rusty, rochester
