All I want for Christmas is for the Denver airport to re-open...
Gah! I've been so busy with work this week, that I didn't even realize there was a massive blizzard going on in Colorado. Awesome. Sure, I'd heard there was a bunch of snow falling from various people who were aware of my Christmas plans, but it was always followed by something like, "Think about all that glorious powder!" and not "Dude, Denver International is closed!"
Eeep.
Good news is they're supposedly opening a couple runways at noon on Friday. My flight doesn't leave Cleveland until 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As long as they don't get much more snow and the winds stay light, I should be able to fly as planned. If not, it's looking like I might be scouring for last-minute flights to Omaha, and then *hopefully* be back in time to still drive out to the mountains with my fam (who were already planning on driving anyway).
Awesome. I guess no matter what, as long as I get to spend the holidays with my family, everything else will be fine. But sheesh. Way to not snow all winter until now.
