My First Rec!
Before I get to the nitty gritty, is it Rec or Recc? One C or two? I think one looks better so it will stay as is, unless you English teachers out there are horrified.
My first Harry Potter fan fiction recommendation! Word is starting to get out that this fic is a Must See, and I thought that I would chime in. If you like angst, Harry/Ginny, humor, Post-DH stories, thoughtful characterizations, a realistic plot seamlessly woven into the Potterverse, and a dose of Sexy!Harry, then you must check out Blacktag 189's Ghost of You over at Fanfiction.net. quidditchmum recommended this at crack_broom and I seriously could not stop reading for four straight days. It was that engrossing. I am a sucker for angst, I admit, so there will probably be a lot of angsty romance recommended here- but always with a happy ending. Like QM, I will often jump to the end of a story just to make sure that no one dies or runs off with Draco Malfoy (ew).
I am a grownup (and hope you are too), so there will be Mature stories recc'd here. Ghost of You is one such story and has some sexual content, so if that is not your cup of tea, then you might want to skip it. Also, if you are a Neville lover, so far he is not coming off too well, but I have hopes for redemption.
I am pretty faithful to Canon and the freaky deaky stories creep me out, so my reccs will probably not include anything extremely NC17. There will be no Trio threesome stories, nothing with magical creatures getting it on, or God forbid, Twincest. I will try to warn you if a story does push the envelope a little bit with the sexy times.
So go check this out! It is a WIP, but I do believe that blacktag is going to finish it- the story is nearing its conclusion. If you do read, be sure to leave the author a comment. Blacktag loves feedback and is a super nice gal.
