*under full effect of 'cannon days' is wandering the halls trying to figure out where he is... *
*Upon seeing the soon to be professor Mori pauses, wondering at the retro American style of the man's clothes*
*Mori doesn't say anything, but instead discretely keeps his eye on the man as he leans against a wall to contemplate everything he has seen so far today*
*notices the kid watching him, tenses up but otherwise doesn't react* Damn this crazy place, what the fuck..?
*is seeming to still watch the staircase but is wary of the kid watching him, after a long moment he turns and glances at the kid*
... What are you doing out here? All the rest of the sheep have gathered in that really big room *gestures toward the direction of the Great hall* or the Hospital wing... *barely perceptible smirk* Seems something has them all worked up... *amused snort*
*Mori (normally a 7th year student) looked up from pretending not to watch as the man before him started to talk. And listened carefully to what was being said*
*Mori was quiet for a moment as he tried to process what he had just been told.* *Then tensed as he turned to face the man before him, unthinkingly drawing up to his full (and quite significant) height. Mori casually placed his hands in his pockets and looked the man in the eye*
*snickers, is still tense, but considering relaxing a bit, after all, no previous hunters had been sociable*
Aah, hmm.... According to my memories, I've only been here a day or two... But according to a journal I found full of my own handwriting, I've been here for over a year... I don't believe it, but what else is there to believe?
[[*snicker* If only he knew what he was currently having a conversation with. *amused* Paul, (much like his friend Dwayne) is a vampire.]]
*Mori let his guard drop back to where it was when he first started watching the man before him, letting his hands back out of his pockets*
Mine was empty. *Mori once more leaned back against the wall, seeming to think something over*
[[Yeah... Mori hasn't been warned about the vampires yet, so he has no clue. Mori will probably a bit creeped out when/if he finds out. But I think that's about the worst.... that is unless Paul suddenly decides to attack or something :P]]
Huh, maybe you're a new student, or something else... Hell, maybe ya just don't write in the damn thing. *amused laugh*
*shrugs, leans against the railing at the base of the stairs*
[[LoL! Yah, he may decide to try and take a bite (If that would be ok with you? LoL), but probably not, he's a bit freaked about people possibly trying to kill him, Canon memory traumas and all, *amused*]]
*Mori pushed off from the wall once more, but instead of facing the man, as he had before, he turned so that the man was on one side of him, and the hall he had previously he had come from was on the other*
There is something I need to check.
*Mori looked over at the man for a moment as though debating what to say or do next*
[[I'm fine with it. Mori is quite capable of taking care of himself though.... so Paul may end up sore, still hungry... and potentially having to make a very quick exit :P]]
*leans back further against the railing, now recalling why he had left the Great hall aside from to get away from the possibility of overly gleeful kids with sharp wooden objects, he tightened his grip on one of the railing bars slightly, wincing at the hunger pains*
Yah, go ahead and go check on whatever you need to... *his voice was a quiet hiss, he couldn't decide if he wished the 'kid' would leave already or not... Though, he told himself mentally, the 'kid' was nearly as old as he had been before... And it's not like he had any intention of killing him, though fun, since the people in the castle were already freaking out a bit, it wouldn't be a good idea to panic them too much worse...*
[[ROFL, A very real possibility, that... But it would be amusing and add to the chaos either way. XD]]
*Mori had been debating whether or not he should leave the man before him alone in such a supposedly dangerous place. Now he knew he couldn't.*
*Mori started to walk towards the man*
Are you hurt?
*Mori locked his eyes on the man looking for some sign of what was wrong*
[[Lol, the odd part is if Mori knew what was going on... he would let Paul bite him.... given it wouldn't kill him or turn him into a vamp of course. But given vampire are rather strong... and are something Mori has never dealt with I doubt there'll be time to ask politly]]
*Paul jerked back away from the 'kid' when he stepped closer, not even making a pained noise when he ran full into the railing behind him, only wincing a bit more*
No! I'm fine... Just... *growls quietly to himself, wondering what the hell is wrong with him, back home he would have already fed and been done with it... But he supposed it was because there were too many younger kids about*
*huff* No, Maybe not... *edges closer to Mori, having decided that a snack would be nice right about now, and it's not like it would hurt him...*
[[*amused* Yah, a few of the others seem to gave that view, 'specially since, yah, he doesn't have to kill them, and it doesn't do any lasting damage. Nor does a mere bite change said bitten person, LoL It's more complex that that. *amused* yah, probably not. Though it's an amusing thought.]]
*Mori continued moving closer, as though towards an easily startled animal, while the man seemed to be debating with himself. He was starting to regret the fact he had given the man so much distance. How could he have not noticed such an injury earlier?*
*As Mori got closer he realized the man actually wasn't wounded, but was in fact sick. Between the pallor of his skin and the way he clung to the rail behind him... perhaps this illness was the danger the man spoke of earlier.*
*By the time Mori reached the man he was concentrating only on reading his motions, as opposed to listening to his words.* When the man stared to move forward, Mori moved to catch his arm thinking he was about to collapse*
[[Man but the thought of being able to scare Tamaki with a wound later is too!!! But I don't think I can get my Mori to drop his guard any further]]
*Paul mentally bitched the 'kid' out for a half a minute, before just deciding 'Oh, fuck it.', In his mind he'd more than warned him, and since he was more than silly enough to stay around... well, It wasn't his fault*
*at least it was opportune, Paul somehow managed not to grin when the kid reached toward him, as if wary that he might fall, the guy's concern was touching, but he didn't care about that at the moment, he let himself take a few small unsteady steps forward, all too easily acting more unsteady than he was*
Maybe I don't feel so good... *he grabbed a hold of Mori's arm tightly, as if balancing himself, before attempting to pull the other boy closer, not yet wanting to reveal that he in fact did still have complete control of his balance, and just trying to pull him close enough so as to be able to pin the boys arms and bite him, his fangs sharpened a bit at the thought, but he fought not to let his eye color shift over quite yet. He wouldn't take much, maybe enough to cause the boy to pass out, but not enough to hurt
( ... )
First not to notice, then to think it something else... Mitsukuni, was I just letting him suffer, as you once did with your tooth ache? Am I allowing him to simply suffer, while I just stand here and do nothing?
*Committed to the motion Mori didn't hesitate for even a moment in reaching for the man, even after it was obvious the man was not falling.*
If it were you here, hiding your illness from me, pretending to be ok for so long, I know what I would do.
*It never even entered Mori's mind to release the grip he kept on the man's arm.*
What I must do... if it were you.
*He kept his grip as firm and as steady as the one he used with his practice sword every morning. His expression ever set and serious*
Why, in your absence, should I treat this man any differently?*Having decided on a course of action (no matter what the man himself may have to say about it) Mori allowed the man to pull himself to be pulled forward and downward as his charge sought a better balance, letting the motion mask his own. Just like his cousin in this

How long have these sheep been here?
Reply
I dunno, at least as long as I've been here... Likely longer, most of 'em are only kids, supposed students in this apparent school.
*snicker, slight grin*
You shouldn't be out here by yourself... It's apparently dangerous.
[[LOL!]]

Perhaps.
