Game Day 2

So I went to my club's annual Game Day. I had more fun this year than last. I guess it's because I now know more members and there were more games I could play. This year, the event was held within the Devil's Den. I felt bad for not showing up to one. The thing started at 10 and I wanted to help with set up. I didn't receive any word about the prizes I offer to donate so I brought them along. I was ready to rid myself of the Witch Hunter Robin season 1 and my One Piece manga collection from volumes 1-15, there are some I hadn't even read yet.

The food was pretty nasty. There was pizza and fresh fruit. The pizza was brought cold. I was so glad there was coke. I regret not having a single piece of fruit.

I played Rock Band, Taboo, and Soul Caliber 3. Taboo was a lot of fun. There were 3 players for each team. The first one to score to 20 points won. Each round, everyone tried to give as many geeky references we could. The other team won, but mine got to 15 or 16 points. Rock Band was hard since it wasn't Guitar Hero. Also, it's been awhile since I've played so I was really, really bad. As nearly everyone was playing Apples to Apples, I was playing Soul Caliber 3. I played against the computer for a bit to warm myself up. I then played with a friend for a good several rounds. He would chose both custome and set characters at random. I was glad I was able to stay as Yoshimitsu. That game was a lot of fun. By the end, the score was 9 to 16. Clearly I lost by a lot but I still had fun.

As the event drew closer to the end, I thought I would be able to finally construct my new Duel Monsters deck. That didn't happen. I only orgnaized by cards. I need to find time and make a deck before the end of the semester.

When 4 o'clock rolled around, I helped cleaned up. Fortuneately, there wasn't too much trash. Good thing, I guess college students are more responsible than high school students. Then again, we ARE just a bunch of geeks. Afterwards, I went to the library to try and get a paper done. I worked more on the outline than the writing. Hopefully I can get it done before it's due date.
