He has Asperger's syndrome - oh whoops, I wasn't supposed to say that! :O

This is just a post to highlight some older ones

First to go is one with which I mediate that, I take back taking back that H's boyfriend made certain slanderous comments on my LJ (old post about it here.

K (H's bf) wants to hide his Asperger's Syndrome from her because apparently he thinks his AS is a direct cause, an "excuse" for his narcissism and manipulative behaviour. Yes, I have noticed the two are linked very strongly as I know many (proven) with it, but I also have Asperger's, and although I recognise the tendency in me, I do not want to manipulate other people, I have morale which has me being honest and respectful, even to a fault. Me and her got along well before he got in the picture, the timing plus his behaviour (considered now retrospectively) just reinforce my belief in that he poisoned her against me.

K, you have no right blaming your Asperger's for who you are. Everybody has a choice, and you made yours, stop blaming a neurological tendency for your disrespectful misbehaviour. By doing that you're just being irresponsible.

Really, one tells me he wants to be my friend, then the next thing you know I'm getting a "you made it up"-comment from the person in question. Jesus, the fact that I am depressed, and medicated for that doesn't mean that I am delusional, the fact that I have one kind of mental condition does NOT mean that you can pin all other sorts of mental deviances on me.

It's too bad that the general population is too badly informed about mental illnesses in general because it seems that it is so easy to nip all them together, too easy to make others think one is insane just because they need some meds. Depression does not equal insanity. If you don't understand that, you're an ignorant idiot. If you however do understand it but use that against the person who already has a big bite battling their mental condition, you are not only an asshole, but a heartless, sadistic bastard.

Well, apart from being harrassed by narcissists with Napoleon Syndrome, I have a post that I had to make semi-private (just to be sure) because of court-issues. I now do not have to worry about lawyers possibly using my posts in their cases, so I re-present you, the now unlocked post about how I escaped a knife.

Enjoy :P
