Heya!
(something profound)
Why do we type "lol"? It's usually a lie. We should type "li" for "laughing inside" more often than not. Here's a funny thing: last night I watched Revenge of the Nerds with Randy and Jeff. We all laughed alot and it ocurred to me for not the first time that if I was watching the movie alone, I would enjoy it as much, but be laughing on the inside, and very rarely out loud. That means as far as I can tell that when watching movies, we still are focussed largely on one another because we are in fact laughing FOR ONE ANOTHER, or to interact with one another. How odd. But not really. I don't own a TV anymore for reasons like this. There's plenty of times too that I can feel small panic attacks on my or my friends' behalves when we're over my place and there's a lull in conversation or activity. But, really, I hate copping-out on what I believe we truly want the most, which is to love one another and interact with each other, that's why I keep the TV outa my house. Alone or with others I'm willing to suffer through small panic attacks of "what am I doing", then admit to myself that it doesn't matter what I'm doing, that's why I have the leisure time to ask such a question, then I find something moderately stimulating and active to do.
Here's my top (something) list:
-Say something random and see what happens.
-Pickup the guitar. If nothing comes to mind to say, there's frequently a feeling around that's worth listening to.
Actually, I am all set making this list that could go on endlessly. Today I spent some lovely time playing with the boiling water in a pot full of black beans which are actually EXTREMELY deep purple beans and as the water begins to boil it gets darker and darker blue, then when it is almost black a pink hue comes out turning it purple. OK, I am sick of this computer. Bye bye.
