Taking today off
Exhausted after spending all night attempting to quarry down through a mountain to find solid ground whilst scolding my fellow survivors for squabbling about the best way to remove the unstable ground between us and some unreachable goal. Two nights in a row I've been trying to get down to solid ground. Fever dreams are weird.
My back hurts, my neck hurts, my hips, shoulders, head and jaw hurt. I'm hot, achey and miserable.
I need a hug.
E.T.A.: The morning passed in a seemingly endless cycle of TH drinks allocated ration of liquid, TH gets the sweats. TH drinks tea. TH gets the sweats. Repeat ad infinitum. However, all the drinking does mean my kidneys seem to hate me slightly less now and the dull pain is easing. In other news: Man delivered gas so could re-start boiler. Have had hot shower. Have clean clothes. Have bedding in washing machine. Have chicken noodle soup. I may beat this sucker after all.
