Good Morning!!
Well...I'm learning that mornings just aren't my time. ;) I awoke yesturday and this morning feeling painful and nauseas...but I'm pretty sure its the food. I can't tell you how HARD it is to stay on my healthy diet. Luckily, my servers and dining coordinators are keeping me in check with nightly fruit plates and montoring my veggie intake. They're so great here!
After I updated, I went shopping and got my parents a little thank you and anniversary gift - Mickey Wine Glasss and a Silver Mickey Wine Stopper. :) I also went to Guest Services and ordered my mom the Birthday Decor and Cake package. They're going to decorate their room at 11:00 a.m. and have a special cake for her at dinner. She'll be so surprised! :) YAY!
From there, I went out on the deck on the 7th floor (our floor) and laid in the sun for about an hour. Then, met up with my parents for the Captain's Dinner and The Golden Mickey's Show. It was nice. :) We then watched the Celebration Party from the atrium....they had dancing, music and a fun balloon drop...don't worry, I took lots of pictures to share.
After that, we got few formal pictures taken and then sat in one of the bars for snacks and drinks...virgin Pina Colado for me! Yum!!
We strolled around deck 9 and 10 (open air) and then decided to head to bed.
I woke up around 8:30 a.m. thanks to my mom's wake up call. I REALLY wanted to have breakfast at Lumier's...so we did. Nice place...good food and our server was really nice too.
I was supposed to attend a Disney Entertaining class - Desserts, with my parents, but I'm feeling crappy. I took some pain and anti-barf pills and will go take nap. Hopefully I'll feel better by lunch...that seems to be the trend.
Plans for today:
Lunch, 2:00 is another Entertaining class - cakes, 3:15 is Diamond Bingo (woohoo!), then hopefully another relaxing session of holding lounge chair down until its time for 6:00 p.m. dinner...then a 8:30 p.m. Cinderella-type show...then, cocktails and MORE food!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day!! Relax, have fun and enjoy the lack of the workday.
Love, Kelly :)
