The recipe was easy to follow. It took more time to create it than expected. Instead of using active yeast, I'll try instant yeast and let it sit in the fridge overnight. It will give the dough more flavor and potentially let it set up a little longer before boiling.

kumquatqueen says it had nice texture. It was well balanced. Could have used more flavor. Disappointed how much they fell during boiling.

Crust: pretty good, but not the best
Inside: nice texture
Appearance: flatter than expected
Flavor: missing bagel flavor
