So I'm catching up on my TiVoed programs -- Olympic hockey and curling are currently high priorities -- and I watch last Sunday's Desperate Housewives.
Apparently, the show is living up to its name, as the current episode shows that Susan will go so far as to marry a gay man for his insurance coverage. (Apparently, a floating spleen is a serious matter.)
Either marriage is no longer taken seriously, or insurance costs have gotten way out of hand, for her to consider this. (The gay guy's partner storms out of the chapel in a snit. It looks like she'll remarry her ex on next week's ep.)
