Do dogs know it's Halloween?
So I'm catching up on my TiVo playlist just now, and I hear a dog yelping in the neighbor's yard.
The barking gets annoying, so I stick my head out the kitchen window. I see that the dog, who is black, has a similarly-colored cat cornered up a low branch. But the dog doesn't advance further; he just keeps barking, while the cat sits there unimpressed.
I watch for a while; I see the cat hiss. Soon after, the dog stops barking, and shoots out of the yard and down the street.
