On the town
...but with the spare time during lunch and after class, I've been hitting some familiar and new places while in Atlanta.
For lunch today, I trekked through a rainstorm, the city's first in nearly a month (9/12), over to CNN Center, where I ate at the food court. And since it isn't a trip if I don't get Chad something, I stopped next door at Phillips Arena -- home of the Hawks (NBA) and Thrashers (NHL) -- and got him a T-shirt. Perfect for fall weather!
And for dinner, I tried out AMC Theatres' Fork & Screen in the Buckhead neighborhood. Unlike last time where there was a coffee-and-juice bar in the lobby, AMC had sit-down tables in its auditoriums complete with food and drink menus. (See related post for the movie -- and food -- review.)
