Movie diary: X-Files. Y?
F5:10 X-Files: I Want To Believe, Park Place Stadium
While I did watch the series when it was on TV, and saw the first movie, I am not an obsessive-compulsive X-Filesphile.
So Scully and Mulder have now shacked up together. No big to me.
My big fuss with this movie is two-pronged:
(1)Yay, the movie takes place in a fictional town in West Virginia. But why is there so much snow? (Granted, I live in the city, and the mountains usually get the brunt of winter storms.)
(2)The plot, involving hijacked organ donations, sends the organ carrier all the way over to Richmond. WVU doesn't have a transplant-capable hospital? Even UVa (Charlottesville) would be closer.
That being said, I giggled when I saw that SmallFictionalTown, WV had a natatorium -- and called it a natatorium. Yes, I know it's a $10 word for an indoor swimming pool, but seeing {Whoever}'s Natatorium just struck me funny.
