Grilled Cheese

Apr 23, 2008 21:13

I was just thinking of Jack&Juliet (there's two particular promo shots x&x for 4x10 that have me absolutely flailing :DDD) and naturally my mind filled with thoughts of Cheeseburgers and Grilled Cheese sandwiches. I wanna ask, anyone who reads this, how do you cook your grilled cheese? Coz the American way seems really weird to me - putting bread ( Read more... )

We do grilled cheese like this:

Butter bread, put cheese slice in middle. Butter side of bread is on the outside and then that goes into low-heat frying pan. When both sides are brown and cheese is melted, you're done!

Mac and cheese comes from a box...lol.

My mom does her hot chocolate the 'real' way with grated chocolate and milk but I use powdered stuff. Because I'm lazy. ~g~

My experience is Mac&Cheese coming from a box too xD.

I think I'll be trying that pan-frying tomorrow, if I'm in a cheesy mood of course.

Hehe, "Pandora's Mum, uh, Mom! I want some Hot Chocolate, please."

*g*

I hate to cook, but I can do a good grilled cheese. Come one over and I'll make you one. Gotta do one for the Coconut, too. ~g~

Love that icon, btw.

You are totally more than welcome to come for a visit. We have lots of humidity, alligators that roam free (true story) and enormous cockroaches! Gotta love southern Louisiana!

I wish I could take credit for that icon, but I can't. It's a favorite. Love the crop, the black and white and just everything about it. He's so fucking pretty that it hurts.

I do love the warmer weather. And we'd have to see how your Alligators measure up to our Crocodiles :P. Those giant cockroaches would make me squeamish, though. I think I'd rather face a Gator than a big-ass roach lol.

There's so many icons I want to add to my usericon section (you've got some great ones) but gah, only got 15 slots. It's so hard to divvy up between Liz Mitchell and Ian Cusick xD

Only 15 slots? Crazy! A few years back, a friend gave me a permanent account as a get-well gift. I have 142 slots and the majority of them are Ian. I mean, even in my hardcore Snape days, I've never had that many of the same person!

Oh, been meaning to ask - what time is it over there right now? I'm always wondering how far ahead of me that you are...and your LJ time clock shows MY time, so that doesn't help one stinking bit...lol.

142 slots for a permanent account... I'd go nuts with that hehe. Yeah, 15 slots for a non-paid. Have to be picky with my choices.

"even in my hardcore Snape days" xD I found that sentence so amusing.

But I was hardcore Snape...lol.

I'm so telling you, Ian could pull off young!Snape. Have you seen that manip someone did of him in Snape's frock coat and robes? To die for! He just needs to have Miles arrogant ass attitude and it would be for the win.

I use Theo!Ian as my Snape while reading fan fic. At least in my head he can pull it off. ~g~

Yeah I saw that manip. Pretty good :). But I don't share your Snape love - he does nothing for me so I'm not really loving the thought of Ian as him lol. Sorry :P

And it's 8:06am here, just in case you were wondering. Just got back from taking Coconut to school.

8:06 am there... according to LJ it was 10:36 pm here. I'd say that's about right. It's 11:15 when I hit 'post comment'.

We recently went back one hour because of daylight savings time. I was on the laptop that day and Ma told me to go to bed coz it was midnight, and so I cheekily came back with saying that technically it's 11. Lol.

Ok, so you're 14 1/2 hours ahead of me. Cool.

Oh, I hate daylight savings time. It's so hard to get a child to go to bed at 8pm when the sun is still shining! Grrr...I mean, it's ok for summer and all but Coconut so isn't buying it. He's notorious for getting up at 5am to watch cartoons in the morning (I get up at 6:30) so I've been letting him stay up a bit later and now he's been sleeping until I get him up at 6:45. I don't mind him doing that when it's a weekend but he needs all the sleep he can get when he's in school.

I just realized that in your daylight savings time, you went back and we went forward this spring. We'll go back around Halloween or the weekend before. That I don't mind, because we gain an "extra" hour that night. Losing an hour always fucks me right up.

OMG, 11 hours until Lost! Squee!
