Sorry to hit and run like this but we are moving fast and furious in the effort to save the Spaulding and Coweta animals.
Donations have been pouring in and every little bit is helping to get an animal to safety!
We've had some great responses from various other rescue groups and also members actually adopting animals just to save them. The ones being saved are increasing every moment. When the dusts settles and I can figure out who got out and who is still in danger, I will do another post. We are trying to save the ones that go down today and then will work on the rest in the order of their deadlines.
Looks like the two pregnant moms will get out and be able to get vet care and have their babies in a safe environment. :) Still worried about the bassett mix Mom and her pups. Some interest shown in adoptions for the pups but nothing on Mom yet. :(
We are working feverishly to save as many as possible. You all are amazing and I can't tell you how in Awe I am of the support you have shown these animals in crisis!!!! Sadly, it will all start over again next week but I'm just praying to not see so many in danger at the same time. Usually we can pace ourselves and save many but this week was just overwhelming with the large number to be gassed at these two facilities. It got so desparate that members were asking if we can't save them could we atleast pay to have them humanely put to sleep with injection. That is so sad to have to even consider that as an alternative. Hopefully, we can save most of them.
Thanks again!
I love you all!!!!!
