K.C. is really upset as there are a bunch of dogs going to be put to sleep tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday because funds are low and there are just too many to try to save

just had a thought - do you guys ever do any fundraising stuff? raffles, anything? or even ebay auctions?

i'd be happy to donate some art, and i'm sure other folks would be too. us artists have much more art to go around than money, you see. ;-)
so maybe people could help out that way too? something to think about.

We are working on fundraisers right now. DRDR is a licensed rescue but not yet 501c or 503c... whatever it is you need for charitable auctions. It takes two years to yet that tax deductible charitable status. :(

I did an auction last month and donated the funds to them as did a few others in the group. We are getting a cookbook together to help the Saving Shelter Pets website. Some of that money will be split between a number of different rescue groups.

Any contributios are more than welcomed!!!! We will sell anything to save a life. :)

I can get the mailing address for the founder of the website or you can mail to me and I can forward to Jamie or Michelle (DRDR) depending on which group wants to use them for fundraisers. What a generous offer!!!
