(no subject)
Yesterday, it didn't rain at all dispite a forcasted 80-90% chance of rain all day (except for a few minutes while I was in the restroom according to Brian). We went to Target first thing in the morning to buy an umbrella in anticipation. They only had one left (a leopard mini purse size model), but we figured it would be a bit better than nothing. I sure that if we hadn't bought it, it would have poured all day. It was still a bit chilly, but we felt incredibly lucky with the way it turned out.
We were also very lucky with the crowds. The longest wait time was for Finding Nemo Submarine ride (about 45 minutes), but I don't think we waited more than 15 minutes for anything else. In addition to Nemo, we got to ride: Pirates of the Carribbean, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Small World Holiday, the Matterhorn (twice), Indiana Jones, Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Snow White's Scary Adventure, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, the Storybook Canal Boats, Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio.
We also saw the holiday parade. I loved it! My favorite part was Cinderella's ugly stepsisters. I've never seen them before at a Disney park and they were really hamming it up. Brian also saw him name on the naughty list on Santa's mail room float. He was also on the naughty list in Haunted Mansion Holiday. Perhaps I should be getting him some coal this year. I kept thinking that I wished Ellie was there every time we saw Snow White things (she had a big part in the parade, the ride, the wishing well and they had all kinds of merchandise).
After 12 hours at Disneyland, I was pretty tired, but very happy.
