Winter Solstice and Christmas?

There was a debate on some of the Christmas traditions that we have today (holly, ivy, mistletoe, yule log, the giving of gifts, decorated evergreen tree, magical reindeer, etc.) was either Christian or Pagan. I think whats sad about today that a lot of people are not open minded about different people and culture's and religions and everytime something looks jesus friendly to them they freak out. I'm a christian but I am not a labeled (protestant,babtist,etc.) Christian and I am very open minded about all religions and think that each religion we could learn so much from. Christmas is Christmas! To each person there's a different reason why they celebrate it. We shouldn't focus so much on the orgin of Christmas just focus on what it means to you.This wow forum is a video game thing right? So yea it's just too bad that they have nothing else to do but complain about nothing.

We had to look into the origins for Christmas in order to make the complainers see that tree decorations and strings of lights is not a Christian tradition. It was adapted from winter solstice from the pagans.
