The Camp NaNo challenge graphs/prompts

May 30, 2012 22:35

I totally meant to do this yesterday but was without internet! That sort of situation always leaves me shaky and weak... so I just went to bed early! *grins*

I decided against the Verbage Challenge and instead put together some picture prompts. There are 30 smallish pictures but will still be rather large.

Notes on how to use the prompts (or not use the prompts):
-You do not have to use these prompts in any of your writing for this challenge. These are just a way to encourage your muse to cooperate for the month. Feel free to mix and match!

-Saying that, if you'd like to use other prompts from previous challenges or prompt tables, you may. That being said, if you use the prompts for this challenge, you will not get a prompt banner in addition to the special challenge banner.

-Remember that you don't have to be literal with the pictures. It's something to use as a "jumping off" place for the writing.

-Feel free to use the quote as the "header" for a chapter (as I like to do with my longer writing) or as the general idea for the day's writing.

-The "Today I Wrote" list is just that - something you wrote about that day. Once again, it can be something specific in one part of the day's writing or it can be the overall arc of the idea.

-It would be better if you only used one prompt per day. Any more than that and your poor muse will get confused!

-The only real rule for this challenge is that you push yourself. You don't need to post anything you write this month (although we'd love to see things here and there as you'd like to share them) and you don't have to finish one story per prompt.

-Okay, there's TWO rules for this challenge. The second would be HAVE FUN!

Here are the prompts/tables for the Camp NaNo challenge:
