I've been writing short reviews of shows for Gapers Block's music blog, Transmission, lately.
A few recent ones: the Evens; Grizzly Bear; and Nous Non Plus.

The Evens were tonight. They're playing again tomorrow, and I liked it enough I'm almost tempted to go back. Honestly.
Next week it'll be Lily Allen. Wonder what that'll be like.

So, I talked to Gregg of Girl Talk not long ago. Despite the way it might seem from this corner of the intarweb, not everything I write is completely insipid.
