Couple things off my plate
I accidentally managed to make ears that I was happy with, yesterday. Now I just need to buy new spirit gum. They're partly held on with a thin headband, but I need to tack down the flaps over the front of my ears. (Yes, they actually cover my ears!) My family believes they are too "angry", "down" or "laid back", but seeing as being/transforming into a werewolf is hardly a pleasant experience, particularly for Lupin, I am quite pleased with them thankyouverymuch. Therefore, in the interests of time, I'm going with ears and a tail and possibly some face painting for my wolfishness, and abandoning the footpaws, at least for now.
I also only have the hand sewing of the hem left. Gaa. Will take time, but it's doable before Friday, I think.
I called the pharmacy today during my break, and lo, they had my syringes. I picked them up after work. After looking ALL OVER THE STORE for alcohol wipes, I finally had to ask. They were right in front of the counter. D'oh. (Me, I would have put them with the other disinfecty stuff like the bottles of rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, but apparently that's just me.) So, in short, I am now fully equipped to self-inject. Other good news is that I can look at the needles with no fear. Still feel a little nervous about sticking them in my leg, but looking at them in the packaging now... I just.. don't.. care.
I was going to call the movers, only to find the message saved in my voicemail was for the wrong company, so I have to get the number for tomorrow before work.
I need to call my lawyer again and make it clear that as I am LEAVING TOWN NEXT WEEK, I need to sign the papers NOW.
And now from the files of fantastic management:
Today, I had a total of 16 transactions. Out of those, I managed to get 2 member card signups, leaving my percentage at over 12%. The total number of member cards for the morning shift was 6. I got fully a third of all the member cards for the morning. Upon sharing this with my store manager, did I get a "thank you" or a "congratulations"? Nope.

Granted. I hate the member program. I don't push it hard. I think 2.07% is a totally stupid goal. However, in order to stay in relatively good standing, I have to share when I actually manage to GET some, so they realise I'm not 'dragging everyone down' as it were.
The store goal is 2.07%. I had over 12. I got a third of the cards today. I had ONLY SIXTEEN TRANSACTIONS, several of which ALREADY HAD the card.

This, folks, is why we all hate her.
Thursday, I'm going to do the whole coming out thing with her. Which will be likely be a completely miserable process, but at least I leave town for a while days later. Also, I have my ASM backing me up, and seriously, don't fuck with her.
And if all goes well, I only have to put up with any of them for a little over another month.
