Useful information
I have no idea why my mother had this around, except to know that it has nothing to do with me. It's a brochure/insert for "Blaine's Scar Care", which looks like it might be extremely useful after surgery. Granted, I'm only looking right now at THEIR information about how well it works, but it looks like it might be better than Mederma. It's not only a gel you put on like that, there's a silicone pad to put on when you don't have the gel on. I remember having seen stuff about those being good for burn scarring, so... it kind of follows that it would help other scars too.
It's just nice to have options.
Having another discouraged day, because now I'm realising just how badly I need to be apartment shopping, and I am feeling at a loss as to how to start. Especially seeing as how I'm here... and it's there...
Also, the check engine light is on in my car again, meaning there's probably something more seriously wrong that will cost about 500 bucks to fix. Some filter canister or something. I forget, except that it's expensive. On top of the brake work that still needs to be done.

And I have a dentists appointment tomorrow, where I can only pray that I don't need any fillings, and it's just the cleaning and exam I end up paying for, cause I really can't afford the extra 300 bucks for fillings.
My throat is scratchy too, and I don't know why.
Perhaps I'm just determined to be a mess today.
Oh, and while I was on break today, we got ripped off for nearly $500 of merchandise, from my department. It's on camera, but that does fuck-all good considering they were out of the building by the time I got back and was like "WTF NO DVDS ON MY DISPLAY".
*sigh*
