Book #7: Lost in the Multiverse by R.E. McLean

Number of pages: 45

I downloaded this short story as an ebook, and it is a direct sequel to Murder in the Multiverse.

The plot didn't have much time to develop, but what I read was enjoyable, primarily revolving around a murder in a new parallel universe, populated by talking cats, including inevitably Schrödinger (who I'd expected to be able to talk right from the beginning of the first book).

It was full of the sort of humour that I recognised from the previous book, and my favourite part was the cats pointing out cats being in control is no different from the real world - it's just that here, they've banished all the humans.

The ending did feel a bit sudden, and this wasn't quite as good as Murder in the Multiverse but I found this enjoyable enough to pass the time yesterday evening.

There is a full length sequel expected out, and I hope to read it sometime.
