November 2015 reading:

47. Spice & Wolf: Volume 3, by Isuna Hasekura (249 pages)
I think this deviated from the manga a bit, and I enjoyed it a lot. There was a lot of emotion in this one, and the relationship between Lawrence and Holo is so well-written.

48. Spice & Wolf: Volume 4, by Isuna Hasekura (249 pages)
I really love reading these as light novels. So much more there.

49. Citizen: An American Lyric, by Claudia Rankine (169 pages)
This book was brought to my awareness, like many other people, through the brilliant subversion at a Trump rally. I am glad to have purchased this book, and in fact read the entire thing out loud to my cat in one sitting. Calling it a lyric certainly fits, and the book is almost one long and interconnected poem. Definitely a worthwhile book of poetry, powerful in the way it addresses racism in America. There is so much painful and unavoidably prevalent truth in this book.
