Roll up, roll up!

I thought I'd give you lovely people a tour of my room.
Well, actually I just took a bunch of random pics and thought I might as well post them. =D
Also, I have some of the stuff from the Arts Council, presents from England, and some random ones.
So step right this way, mind your head, and please keep all appendages inside the vehicle.

Okay first my room. Sorry for the mess, but I've been moving stuff in and out and around & haven't actually had time to dust.
I'll have to get to that tomorrow, if I can. lol.

1.) My door. As you can see there are a lot of things going on here. There's my Simpsons poster, the Beatles one I made, a psychedelic peacefrog, tag from my Beatles bag, tag from Mutts organinc pajamas [they say 'Imagine Love'], a Get Fuzzy comic, 2nd place ribbon from Jr. Duck Stamp Competition, Patrick sticker, nametag from quizbowl, a cat doodle, and movie tickets from The Simpsons Movie & AtU.

2.) The opposite wall features Johnneh, a white peacefrog in tribute, both my calendars, and a dry erase board. And I once drew on my walls with chalk [like a year ago] and I've cleaned & cleaned but it won't come off, so that's why they're kinda smeary. But you totally wouldn't notice, if you were here. lol.

3.) No pics of the bed, b/c it's just a bed. The comforter is polka dots. But here is my bedside table. Ah, clutter, what would I do without you?

And here's a topside pic of the table, so you can get a better idea. It's kind of a one stop shop, isn't it? lolz.
And yeah, that's a teeny Sgt. Pepper's album inside the box.

4.) Next is THE John Lennon Statue. Yeah, I'm serious. It was Mechele's but SHE WAS GONNA THROW HIM OUT! So I'm like HECK NO!
He needs a coat of paint, but it's still pretty cool. =)   And I used to be a total Potterhead [haha.] so that would explain the poster rolled up behind him. But I'm totally over that.

5.) And we have the bookshelf, that holds....BOOKS! Ohemgee, who would've thunk it? lol.
I've also got my HELP! dvd [which is like a book anyway] & my ukulele there, as well as a box of charcoals & pencils and stuff.

Other stuff: Lightswitch plate, Spamalot ticket, Starry Night, Peruvian Peter & a piggy.

Thank you for stopping by, please check out the gift shop on your way out, and have a fab day! lolz.

Now we have some pics of the stuff I got from Nancy. Apparently, some lady died and her family didn't want the pictures she painted of them. I know, that sounds horrible, but it's true. She also left some canvases and paints and things. Nancy said I could have whatever I liked, and here is what I picked up.

1.) "Old Woman"  ['I'm 37, I'm not old!' lol. Sorry couldn't resist.]  This was the artist's sister but as I said yesterday she's got a bit of a cartoony style. There's also a painting of two kids but they were really creepy & framed so I didn't want to take that one. She said she'd find a place for them though. I'm probably going to end up painting over this, but my dad and I spent a good hour today coming up with humorous things to do with the pic as is. Ex: speech bubbles, an eye patch, masks, lei & hawaiian shirt, etc. I might just paint the background over in trippy orange paisleys though...

2.) The artist's son [I think]. This one's not that bad, actually. But I'm not sure what I'll do with him either. We had a few ideas for him, like a Pat Paulsen button or a shoulder devil/angel sort of thing. lol.

3.) Oh & you know I mentioned acrylics? Well, I was wrong, of course I didn't really look at them, so it's an honest mistake. It's a box of watercolors but they're good quality. I don't know that I'll use them that much, if at all, but Dad said he'd use them.

4.) There were some nice books with a couple postcards stuck inside them. The Natural Way to Draw book had some Lennon-esque stuff in it. I wonder if they used those books at the art college? ;D

5.) This is awesome. It's a jar of brushes & a tub of chalks! Well & spray paint & turpentine, but I'm probably not gonna use them. You know these are pretty old b/c they don't even make 'ice milk' anymore. lol.

I also got two easels [and dad took the huge one] but I don't have a pic of them.

I stopped by Dad's on the way home & Mechele gave me the stuff she bought in England.
It was nice of her to think of me, I guess. But it's mostly junk little stuff.
I like the cards, but I hate to open them. lol. And the button's cute. =)
And apparently the hat is the new Abbey Road design.

Here's a close up of the button. I put it with my others & my Buddha pin. lolz.
At least they said it was Buddha. It could be anyone, I guess. It was only $4 though! =D
Oh & btw, the button hat says "Leave my brain alone!" and it has Plankton on the side with a remote control. haha. Spongebob <3.

Had enough randomness yet? Good, b/c there's more!

1.) This is me at the Gallery Crawl with my children drawings [Which seems like a million years ago].

2.) This is why Dad is not allowed to take pictures anymore. I was trying so hard not to laugh!
[And it's blurry]

I know I never posted any prom pics so here's the only ones I have.

3.) The gang. From l to r: Sarah & [Idk his name. lol], Megan & Kirby [crazy and crazy. Good match. lol], Matt & Sarah [Matt is our Paulie look-alike but he's hiding here. I'll have to find a pic of him somewhere], Janet, Alex, Brittany, Me, [I sadly forget this girl's name, but she's really nice. I think she's from the other school], Jessica & Steve.

Somehow, we all fit into the limo.

4.) Inside. I took this. Steve, Jessica, [girl I can't remember], & Alex are all behind and/or to the left of me, therefore not in the pic.

5.) This is Chris & Kevin. They're pretty much inseparable, but like brothers [I don't think they're gay or anything. lolz]. I'm sure you may have heard me mention them before. Chris used to tell random people he was my boyfriend. lol. Kevin can play the guitar & he played Blackbird for me once, it was really awesome. They both graduated this year.

And here are some of Steven [my cousin], April [his wife], Braxton & Saydie [their twins].

6.) Steven & April

7.) This was when they were just born and he came out to tell us.

8.) Braxton & Saydie. They sleep like 95% of the time. lol.

9.) Saydie & Braxton. All I can say is I'm glad they're not identical. =)

And for good measure, one more pic. It's the poster I had up at the Gallery Crawl.  But they hung it sideways. Lol. I
t's okay though, it doesn't really matter. =)

And that's it! Hope you enjoyed the show! =D

Love,
Anna
