(no subject)
Hi! I know I said I'd fill y'all in on prom stuff, not that you would really care because it was pretty much a bummer. lolz.
So tthis [was going to be] a super short summary [but now that I've started it it will have to be in 3 parts. lol.]
If I had pics I would share them but I didn't take any & Brittany hasn't sent me copies yet...[Maybe by the time I get the 3rd part posted I'l have them]
I was late by like 15 minutes & was the last one there because the woman took FOREVER to get my hair done. But it was okay because they were still taking pics outside the limo. So I got there for a few group shots, then they herded [literally] into the limo. Somehow [& Idk if this was like Karma or what] I ended up sitting next to Steve. [He's this SUPER-annoying guy from my Pre-Calc class last semester. But he's kinda of nice sometimes and I felt really bad because he was going to get me a birhday present [awws] & he wrecked his car. I got him an Office calendar for Christmas & he was all surprised & said it was his favorite present [awws again]. Then he gave me the ABSOLUTE BEST PRESENT EVER!!!!!! [or at least so far in my life] It was a 45 of Hey Jude/Revolution with the original little sleeve! And he loves the Beatles & Monty Python and he was the only person that knew that John was sitting on a cornflake. And he seems all nice but then he does/says stuff just to annoy me/insult me. For instance, he once said I looked like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man...and I tried to totally ignore him for a week but it was exceptionally difficult. ]
And I just noticed that I've been totally just rambling on and on about him. I hate when I do that because it sounds like I like him or something Which I don't think I do, although everyone thinks we'd be like perfect together or something, but he has a girlfriend so I'm totally not interested.
Anyroad, he & his girlfriend Jessica were supposed to sit with the rest of the couples so all the girls sans dates could sit together but they wrecked it and sat in the back [except it was really the front] with us. So we were talking about stuff and we got into an argument about which was better "Life of Brian" or "Meaning of Life" and that started because he made some joke about being pregnant [Which in my head TOTALLY made me LOL because of the whole "Maccafetalitis" thing on capslock. I wonder f he knew about that? I don't even know if he has an Lj...hmm...] and then said that at least he had the right to be pregnant or something and said that I should have laughed because I was the only one that would have gotten the joke. [I did not laugh because "LoB" is srsly one of the worst movies ever made, but that's another story.] So yeah we were all joking around & then I was talking to Janet who was sitting on the other side of me & I have no idea what they were talking about but then they said something about me being the one with "handcuffs & a whip." And I was like "WHAT THE HECK are y'all talking about?!?" And I'm still not really sure but she thought it was funny and said that I had them to use on Steve [omg, I'm so glad he didn't hear that!] And I said something I don't remember & anyway, it ended with me saying Janet could have all of the stuff [and eventually she said she'd give them to Matt [aka Matt McCartney [our resident Paul look-alike]]] & Sarah. So yeah, I guess the limo ride was interesting. lol.
Okay yeah, I'm sorry for being all insequential or whatev, but I guess I should just admit [because I'd never really probably admit this]
I did kinda like Steve & maybe I did like him that day. [If i'm really being honest, he came in the gym Friday when we were finishing up decorations. I turned and walked the other way & I don't think he noticed me but I seriously had like butterflies [cue John singing "It's Only Love" lolz.] or something, and I've never felt that way about about anybody or anything before. It was weird [and it made me even more depressed, later, I guess]. He did however say I was his "number four girl". lolz. That was at the restaurant. He listed out all the girls he knew. Jessica was #1, then this other girl from our Pre-Calc class, then someone I didn't know, then me. And, yeah, I was kind of excited because there were like two girls after me. How lame is that? lolz.]. So probably one of the reasons prom kinda sucked was that he was there [all over his girlfriend, I might add] and that was kind of depressing. Not that I'd really consider dating him or anything because I'm sure it would never work between us.
Sorry for being all cathartic but I've been sort up bottling that up recently, and I just needed to let it out.
