Truth is Stranger than Fiction
I love my friends and usually nothing they do surprises me. This one actually caught me by surprise.
I got a call from Garreth earlier. He has informed me that he's been contacted by the Conservative Party of Canada to run for Parliament in Winnipeg North against NDP incumbant Judy Wasylycia-Leis. He wants me to be an important part of his campaign team in the upcoming election.
My buddy Garreth is probably one of my favorite people to party with. The guy can drink, create stories to be told for years afterwards out of thin air and is one of the brightest guys I know. I'll do anything I can to help him win the election, but thinking of him, sitting there as a Member of Parliament, creating laws that govern our country makes me laugh. I'd love to see it, but I'm scared of the results. God help us if we end up with 'the honorable' Garreth McDonald, Member of Pariament for Winnipeg North.
