First Week of School

Sep 12, 2010 12:05

Somewhere, someone is weeping over the thousands of trees pointlessly massacred all over the Nation for back to school purposes. I was bombarded by the usual un-Godly amounts of paper that the school requires you sign and all of that stuff and nonsense on the first day of school. None of that is very interesting, so I will move on to the better parts.

The classes I'm taking and what I think of the teachers, in no particular order.

Environmental Explorations: The teacher in this class is quite nice, hopefully the boys will be nice to her. Oh, and my arch-nemesis who I have yet to develop a codename for sits in front of me. D: Thank God Moonlight sits behind me.

Government and Virginia History: This isn't going to be as hard as I thought it was, its like the Civics class I took in the 8th grade. Also, the teacher is Fantastic, so no problems there.

AP Literature and Composition: THE GOD OF ENGLISH. Enough said.

AP Language and Composition: Oh no. Oh no! D: I can tell that I'm going to dread this class already! The teacher is great, but the subject is nonfiction analysis and that is NOT my thing. I'm considering dropping it, but my pride and my willpower are at odds. D:

Statistics/Discrete Math: She's crazy. The teacher is CRAZY. Foreshadowing? I think so.

French 4 Honors: I'm off to a good start! Je comprendais tout le mots que Madame parlait. Maintenant, je besoin de parle bon aussi. >.<

Drama 4: We're putting on Peter Pan! I'm so excited! :D :D And the teacher, Gilly is amazing as usual.

So that's the story right there, now let's get in there socially.

I HAVE NO FRIENDS.

Literally, almost all of my friends have graduated or moved. This is a huge dilema for me because I am PAINFULLY shy! D: I have to sit with people I either dislike/don't know during lunch periods! This is horrible. D:

Tomorrow, I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed. This is bad because I have auditions for Alice In Wonderland the next day! Hopefully, I'll be able to talk. The monologue I picked for my auditions is "Why Can't A Woman" by Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. I would own it all over the place....if I'm able to speak.

PANIC.
(And I don't mean at the Disco)

friends, writing, first week, archnemesis, theater, panic
