Out to the mark and then back home again...
Okay just got the final confirmation for this and I am so, SO excited. Next Friday? Dan and I are flying out to Washington DC for three days of fun and sightseeing and general revelry. And thanks to kind aunts and grandmas? We will be going munchkin free.
It will be weird I expect, as the longest I've ever been away from Kaia is 8 hrs. Still though, it'll be nice to have some one on one time with the hubby, and this essentially counts as a early 5 year anniversary trip. I haven't been to DC since I was thirteen, and Dan has NEVER been. (Needless to say the Vietnam Memorial and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are both on our trip list.) Now to just do some research and find out where are good spots to eat!
