I'M FINALLY MOVING OUT
I'M FINALLY MOVING OUT.
I move out June 1st. I put my name in for a scholarship for a free apartment but I didn't think I'd ever get it. The finance/economics student with the highest GPA does, and I DID. I am SO happy! Free rent for a year!!!!!
It doesn't include utilities, but that's a small price to pay. Alex is moving in with me and is paying $90 extra so we can get a two bedroom.
We've been looking around for a couch for our place and I think we've found one! It's a taupe/tannish microfiber couch and it'll look great.
I already bought some adorable dandelion printed green plates/bowls at Target yesterday on a whim :) Granny said she is going to buy me some more plates/pots/pans.
I AM SO EXCITED. I FINALLY GET MY OWN PLACE.
Of course my mom is freaking out because she doesn't want me to leave... but... she is getting over it. Granny is really excited for me. Alex's parents just don't want him moving in with ME because they don't like me... but whatever.
On another note... I picked out my engagement ring <3 It's beautiful. Alex is still saving the money so he's planning on proposing sometime this summer. *RANT* Some girls apparentily don't like picking out their own ring... and feel the need to make me feel stupid for picking out my own... but its something I am going to wear the rest of my life! I could care less about being 'surprised', I'd rather have something I like. Plus my mom is giving me a 1/2 carat diamond from her first marriage to put in the setting I picked out. *END RANT*
Sooooo again, I'm excited. We're thinking about a green/blue/beach theme for our place. The apartment complex itself isn't that nice but when its free... can't be picky! PLUS it's right around the corner from my school, so I'll save loads on gas! (I normally drive 20-25 miles to school/work each day)
After the year living there is up... Alex and I will get married (August/September is what we are thinking) and move into a one bedroom apt in Foley/Orange Beach.
Oh! And I forgot to mention I'm graduating this December, a semester earlier than planned. I'll be taking tons of summer classes but it'll be worth it. I want to start working in January so I'll have time to save up. Plus the Series 7 classes tend to start in January.
Sorry if I rambled, but again, I'm SO excited. My life is falling into place and I couldn't be happier!
