Just checking in.

Because of the nine days of working in the outdoor dark maze at the Haunt my forearms and face are not their normal pasty white, but are a nice shade of tan, (although I think maybe a little too tan for my normal body color.) After those nine days of work we have put up nearly 650 wall panels in the maze, leaving only a little under 300 left that still need to go up. If you add in the one day it took to cut the OSB to four foot sections we will have a much larger maze up this year in less than a third of the time it took to build versus last year. Which does a great job in shooting down a theory held by at least one person at the Haunt that if we had a couple more people just like the people who built the maze last year the show would be done in record time.

After getting the maze up comes the fun part of starting the emergency lighting inside the show and the regular lighting which is going to have to be put off for a couple of weeks while waiting for the incoming artists to actually design some sets that need to be lit.

Well, I will be at JAFAX for the entire weekend, because once again Mark opened his big mouth and volunteered himself to help out with something. I will be running the Anime Garage Sale next weekend and hopefully I will be able to sell enough of my stuff to catch up on my student loan, pay off my car insurance in full for six months and maybe even be able to purchase a new television as mine is starting the march toward death. So if you are at JAFAX please stop on by, I cannot promise a chance to chat because I think I am going to be the only person at the booth but we will see what happens.

I think that is about it for now. Later all.
