What a great story! Ronon's past is obviously really sad, but of course John is protective and does what he can to find out what happened.

Oh that's good. Usually I write this whole fic and then when it comes to the title I slap something on, half the time involving either the first or last line.

This one works though, and I'm glad you like it. ^-^

And about the hints, I really didn't want to go out and say it because I didn't think either character would feel comfortable saying it.

There's just something about John being protective and concerned for Ronon that always warms my heart.

But why did I become convinced that John's proactive idea to help Ronon was going to be a big hug, LOL? Maybe I'm just thinking of what *I* would want to do in that situation.

Anyway, thanks for the story and good job on the characterization. :-)
