Match of the Year
I just got my copy of Joe vs Kobashi in the mail today. It is everything everybody said it was. It's a super hot and stiff match. The crowd is insanely hot through the whole match. The match is stiff with chops (which i love and hate) but the wrestling was also brutal as well. It's really what wrestling should be, I think. I think fans have turned toward a stiffer style. Almost UFC like. That's why Joe is so popular. Look at Kurt Angle in the WWE. Fans love his style. An amateur based style. It's more realistic. Fans love it. You can't do the stiff wrestling every night like the Joe/Kobashi match had. Those suplexes were stiff as hell but the style is what I think wrestling fans have turned toward.
