2005
Here are just some of my favorites from the year 2005. These are just MY opinions and of course I haven't seen, played or listened to everything that came out this year to get a definite answer on what is the best - so don't comment back and go off on me.
Best Movie
Cinderella Man. I really liked Wedding Crashers and 40 Year Old Virgin as comedys.
Best CD
System of a Down: Mezmerize. I was into Mudvayne's album too.
Best Video Game
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I liked Brothers in Arms alot.
Best Wrestler
This year was weird for me. I lost alot of passion to watch wrestling (WWE). I've turned to TNA and ROH more but that's more recently. Looking back throughout the year I have a hard time remembering everything. I watch alot but I don't watch again and again or look back into the shows like I did when I was a kid. I'll say top wrestlers this year in no order are Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Kobashi, AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels.
Best Wrestling Show
Wrestlemania. Because it's Mania and it was a good show. I didn't order much this year since I moved in with my girlfriend and we have our own house and financially things have changed for me. I did watch Summerslam though and I thought that was good. ECW One Night Stand also sticks out. It was amazing and I also picked up that DVD which shows how good I thought it was. I hardly ever buy the DVD's of WWE shows anymore unless it's Mania or something that sticks out like a amazing match.
Best Promotion
TNA. Why? Because they got on National TV this year. They're still rising wether people don't like them or they're losing money or not. They're still around. Plus, besides all the bullshit - the wrestling is good. They do awesome stuff. You can always talk about what's wrong about that company but you should point out what is GOOD.
Best offseason baseball move
Johnny Damon to the Yankees. At first I was furious. I can't stand Johnny Damon. But then ... he became a Yankee. Everything changed. Haha. In reality, we'll see what happens in October for me to be truly happy.
