Title: Seeing Things
Fandom: Thunderbirds/Afro Ken
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Summary John and Alan see things in space.

“John,” Alan said. “Do you ever … see anything in Thunderbird 5?”

“Like what?” John asked, giving his younger brother a sideways look. Alan was very carefully not looking at him.

“Like …a dog,” Alan said.

John’s head snapped around and he stared at his brother for a long moment.

“A dog with an afro?”

“That changes colour,” Alan said.

“Usually matching the starscape,” John said.

“Smiling,” Alan said. “In a loving way.”

The two of them looked at each other for a moment, then nodded, both coming to the unspoken conclusion that they should never mention this ever again.

Title: Experiments in the Swimming Pool
Fandom: Thunderbirds
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Summary: Brains has been busy. Gordon is unimpressed.

“Dad! Brains is doing experiments in the swimming pool again!”

Jeff Tracy didn’t take much notice of this indignant howl until Gordon stormed into his office and banged his hands down onto the table. His purple hands.

“Gordon,” Jeff asked, quite reasonably. “Why are you purple?”

“Because Brains is doing experiments in the swimming pool!” Gordon screeched, volume far too high pitched for someone of his age. His whole body was purple, except for his hair.

“I’ll talk to him,” Jeff said with a sigh, wondering - not for the first time - exactly what he had done to deserve this life.

Title: Remembered Love
Fandom: MARS
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Summary: Kira knows she loves Rei.

Kira knew that Rei loved her. It wasn’t something that she even thought about any more. He loved her and she loved him and that was just how the world was. But sometimes, she remembered it all over again. Like the time she had come home and he’d tried to make her a cake. He’d managed to get ingredients all over the kitchen as well as all over himself and had looked completely bewildered when she’d shrieked with laughter at the sight of him.

The cake had actually tasted quite good though, once they’d cut the slightly charred bits off.

Title: Another Day in the House
Fandom: Doctor Who/Torchwood
Rating: PG
Word Count: 240
Summary: Rory worries about Amy but Rhys isn't too alarmed really.

“Do you think they’ll be back soon?” Rory fretted.

“Course they will!” Rhys said, pausing to survey the laid table. Had he forgotten anything? It didn’t look like he’d forgotten anything. Not that Gwen was likely to mind if he had but still … “You worry too much.”

“They’re often late,” Rory said indignantly. “Amy nearly missed our wedding anniversary!”

“Well, that’s cause she was taking out that gloop-beast thing, wasn’t it?” Rhys said reasonably. “Can’t except her to just stop in the middle, can you? Anyway she said sorry a lot, didn’t she?”

Rory coughed and blushed and Rhys rolled his eyes. Gwen thought Rory and Amy’s noisy sex was endearing. He thought it was bloody annoying but there you go. That was how things were since they’d moved in together to keep fighting aliens with ease.

The door rattled and Rory bounded to his feet. Rhys tried to look like he wasn’t doing the same thing but when Gwen came in, he couldn’t stop himself bounding up and giving her a happy kiss.

“Ah, get off,” she said but she was smiling. “I’m filthy. We just got rid of a Gynaster and they ooze pus like anything. Don’t get that all over your clothes.”

Rory had noticed the state of Amy and was now trying to clean her with a tea towel. Amy was swatting at him and rolling her eyes.

Just another day in the house really.

Title: Opinions
Fandom: W Juliet
Rating: G
Word Count: 50
Summary: Makoto doesn't care what people think

Makoto knew that people judged him. He knew that they thought of him as being less than a man sometimes and it wasn’t something that really bothered him anymore. He was an actor, people would always have judged him for something.

Besides. He was just used to wearing women’s clothing.

Title: Control
Fandom: Hornblower
Rating: G
Word Count: 87
Summary: Horatio Hornblower isn't much of a drinker.

Horatio wasn’t much of a drinker. He disliked not being in control of himself at all times. When he wasn’t in control, things happened and they were usually unpleasant. The occasional drink wasn’t a problem but he just preferred to err on the side of sober. Even if that meant he had to remember things that he’d rather forget. Even if it meant there was never a release from the pains of the past. At least he was in control of himself.

At least there was that.

Title: Just Another Day
Fandom: Sherlock/Bones
Rating: PG
Word Count: 309
Summary: A particularly gruesome body brings Sherlock and John in contact with two Americans ...

The body was particularly gruesome that day. John had seen plenty of bodies in plenty of different states of decomposition but he had to admit, this one was almost unrecognisable as a human being. He could see that several of the policeman nearby were trying not to be sick.

Naturally, Sherlock wasn’t even slightly worried about it. He peered down at the body and blinked, as though it was just a mildly interesting phenomena.

“Could you keep back from the crime scene please?” a burly American man said, frowning at them.

“I’m a consulting detective, I have the right to be here,” Sherlock said, not quite truthfully, John thought.

“What’s a consulting detective?” the American demanded. “Is that some British thing?”

“No,” Sherlock said but didn’t bother to explain further. John gave the American man an apologetic look, hoping he was used to eccentric people. The man just rolled his eyes. Clearly, he was.

“It’s a male,” the woman in the pit announced. “Caucasian, mid-twenties.”

John was quite impressed she knew that. To him, it looked primarily like gloop.

“Are you sure?” Sherlock asked. “That ring on the finger, that’s a woman’s ring.”

“The bones don’t lie,” the woman said firmly. “This is definitely a male.”

“Oh God, they’re going to argue aren’t they?” the American muttered.

“Probably,” John said. “He argues with everyone, even when they’re right.”

“Oh, now where have I heard that before?” the American guy said, shaking his head. John couldn’t help grinning and the guy grinned back.

“Seeley Booth,” he said.

”John Watson,” John said, offering his hand. “Want to go and get a coffee while they hash this out?”

“An Englishman who drinks coffee?” Seeley said. “I’ve gotta see this. Bones, we’ll catch up later, okay?”

They walked off together. Sherlock and Doctor Brennan exchanged glances, shrugged and went back to the murder.

Title: Information
Fandom: 'Allo 'Allo
Rating: G
Word Count: 115
Summary: You might be wondering what Rene is doing. Well, he'll tell you.

I suppose you are wondering what I am doing in this ridiculous fanfic. Well, I’ll tell you.

The thing is, Lycoris has apparently been wondering for ages how to finish this ridiculous challenge of hers and so she decided that the best way to do it would be to rope me into finishing it for her. So instead of being in my café, I find myself shoe-horned into some ridiculous story! Goodness knows what will be happening in my absence. All sorts of terrible things, most likely!

Ah, she says that’s enough. Well, back to the café I go. I do hope those British Airmen will have gone by the time I get back …
