author's note when you're writing in 40 different fandoms, logic says that some of your stories will be rubbish. This is one.
In my years of medicine, I had never realised that it could be possible. I had studied anatomy, of course; and learned how a man and a woman's body fitted together. A man and a man? I would have said that it wasn't just unnatural but anatomically impossible.
Holmes taught me that I was wrong; that two men together could be a perfect match. And as I lay on my back afterwards, staring up at the ceiling - slightly stained from the smoke of Holmes's pipe - I felt fulfilled in a way I had never done before.
"Incredible!" I exclaimed.
My friend gave a small teasing smile.
"Elementary," said he.
