My mind's been full of chemistry lately, instead of writing. So here's a brief update to prove I'm not dead.
The only thing of note, recently, is that I'd managed to nearly destroy my current set of shoes (for all that they're hiking boots, the soles were starting to come off after only about a year of daily wear, and the uppers weren't in too great condition either), so I replaced them earlier this week. I'd been putting it off, since shopping is invariably an ordeal. However, at the end I have New Boots which seem to fit well, and am retaining the box + recipt in case they don't. So I tell myself that it's worth it.
