Why not...another post....
So- I want thoughts and opinions please- here is my dilema...
I am currently trying to decide where to go to university. Since I was unceremoniously rejected from my joint first choice choices of Edinburgh and St Andrews (yes, that's right folks- I am sorry, but Drew, Ainslie, Eilidh, Johanna- you will all be deprived of my company in your home town over the next few years- but don't worry- you'll get over it eventually...).
So my choices are as follows- Dundee, Aberdeen or Glasgow (I have ruled out Stirling, even though I haven't heard from them yet...).
I have almost 100% ruled out Dundee.
So I can either a) Go to Glasgow- by far and away the best city in Scotland- places I like, know, etc etc etc- but, there is a chance I might not get into Halls- and if I do, there is a strong chance I will have to share a room- and if that's the case, I may as well stay at home...
Or b) I can go to Aberdeen- a place I haven't been to for about ten years- I don't know what it is like- I don't know if it is a nice place, a friendly place- I don't know whether or not it has good night life, or if I'd enjoy myself there, etc,etc. But- and it is a very big but- I spoke with my Aunt the other day (the one that lives in the states)- they have a student flat in Aberdeen- and they have said that if I decided to go there, the flat would be mine...which is a really nice thing of them to do- and also really tempting...Stay home in a place I know and love- or go somewhere completey new and have my own flat...
