Mithos was troubled. He was confused. The last thing that he has remembered was finishing off some monsters, before having something quick to eat and going to sleep beside his sister. However, when he has awoken, he was in this.. room, and Martel, Kratos, and Yuan were to be seen. Did the Kingdom find them? Did someone else find them? Or...
His thoughts were interrupted by the knock on the door. Jumping slightly, he looked at the door that led out of this room that he was in. Or at least his thought so. The voice behind the door that he was looking at didn't sound like a soldier, or anyone who would be hostile. Which helped... a little. Still, unless the door is opened, he wasn't going to figure anything out. So, building up the courage, he spoke out.
Oh good, he was there, though he sounded nervous and confused. "My name is Cassidy. I was asked to help you settle in here," she answered, placing a hand on the doorknob. "May I come in?"
Settle in here? What exactly did this person mean? Mithos still wasn't sure of what kind of situation that he was in, but already it didn't look too terrible. Still, he wished he knew where his sister, Kratos, and Yuan were. Maybe... this person would be able to assist him.
"Ah... Yes." Mithos then replied. Might as well, right?
Mithos blinked. Well, he certainly wasn't expecting someone like that to come through the door. The ears and tail were... odd, but it's not like he had a right to call her out on it. Besides, he knows how it feels to be called out on what others might call abnormal.
"H-Hello," Mithos replied, deciding that it was all he was going to say.
More confusion appeared in Mithos' mind. This world? Does this mean that he's not in Tethe'alla, or Sylvarant? Is he on a completely different planet? Then what about his companions?
"A-Alright..." Mithos answered. He then nodded. How she knew his name he wasn't sure but it she doesn't seem to be meaning any harm, "And... your name was... Cassidy, right?"
Where to start? Cassidy frowned somewhat and took a deep breath. "Okay, we are right now in a world called Paradise," she said, trying to recall everything she learned. "I don't really understand why we're here, but the gods from our own worlds are the ones that sent us."
Mithos listened, getting a little bad feeling in his stomach. So the gods from his own world sent him here? He wants to know the answer to that, but it seems that she doesn't know. It probably wouldn't help to press the issue, either.
"So... am I the only one from my.. world to appear here in Paradise?"
"I'm sorry, I don't know if you're the only person from your home right now," Cassidy said, ears drooping a bit. "But people you know could arrive later, and you could be sent home at any time. We're not here permanently. I think there could be a good chance to see people you know."
That made Mithos a little better, though it still felt a bit unsettling not knowing how his three companions were. As long as they were together though, then he can trust them to take care of each other.
"I-I See," the blonde half-elf replied, "Thanks for the information. Is... there anything else that I should know?"
"Oh plenty. Like how right now we're not speaking the language from our own worlds, for example," Cassidy said. She really didn't want him to go out unprepared.
"We're not?" The blonde certainly was a little surprised by this. The whole time they spoke, he was sure that he was speaking his own language. Though now that he thought about it, what she said made sense. "Do you know what language we are speaking?"
"The people who explains it, called it Common," cassidy said. "I didn't know it at the time either, but apparently we can switch between it and our own languages if we want. They made it sound like it's more of a mindset than a language. I just think of it as Common when I want to be understood, and not when I don't."
Mithos thought about this. So... if he didn't want someone to understand what he was saying, he could switch to his own language? "So... say I know two other languages other than this 'Common'... Would I be able to pick which one to speak in?" His first thought was to try it out for himself, but thinking it would be rude, asking was the better idea.

"W-Who's there?"

She didn't approach him or close the door, not sure if either would make him feel uncomfortable. Her tail wagged cheerfully though.

"I'm supposed to tell you a little about this world and if you'd like, I can show you around afterwards," she explained. "Your name is Mithos right?"

It was just a guess really, she hadn't tried it on a person yet since there was no reason for that.
