Dancing in the Moonlight

Summary: All residents received an invitation to some mysterious festival taking place at the very end of November. Music, dance, food and drinks. Everything is accounted for and even the weather is surprisingly mild for this time of the year.
The moon had just begun to rise. Lanterns in various colors decorated the trees and illuminated the area. Tables loaded with food and drinks of all kinds, shapes, colors and tastes where set up between and around a couple of trees where they wouldn't get in the way. Different kinds of alcohol were just as well to be found as sweet soda and a variety of fruit juices. Plates with little, nicely decorated cakes waited on one side of the table, baskets filled with fruit on the other. In between there were pastries and appetizers of all sorts. The selection left little to miss. But had anyone expected there to be anything missing? Certainly not.
The music was different and colorful, chosen to not be boring and meant to lift the spirit of whoever followed the invitation to this event. The slower, calmer pieces were reserved for when it got late and fewer visitors remained. Those that didn't pay too much mind to the music anymore but accepted it as soft background for a potential conversation.
There was enough room to mingle, meet people, dance even or take a seat to chat. Tables and chairs as well as oversized beanbags were waiting patiently to be used. For this late in November the weather was mild and welcoming. It seemed that today the Gods did not intend to have anyone catch themselves a cold during this at least.
