Home sweet home, I guess

The circus returned to L.A. recently after a long tour across the country. I'd like to say it's nice to be back, but the truth is I haven't gotten to see most of it. I did make it to the hospital to visit my brother, though. Mr. Berry was kind enough to take me on Halloween, since everyone else was out for the night.
Bat's condition still hasn't changed....But I'm hopeful.
It'll be my only visit for a while--now that the circus is home we're already getting ready for our welcome back performance. I'll be in the ticket booth again. Mr. Berry usually wheels his office chair into the booth for me. It's more comfortable than the wheel chair and, more importantly, gets less questions from the customers. People get uncomfortable going to a circus when the first thing they see is a crippled acrobat. Not that I can blame them.
Anyway...at least it's something to do.
Oh, and I hope everyone had an enjoyable Halloween.
