ilovetakahana 1. How long ago did you first discover Takarazuka and are you still keen on the fandom? Why/why not?
Since 2008 Summer. Got immediately into Soragumi and fell totally in love with TakaHana. My first musical has been 2004 "Phantom", which I even attempted to sub. I thought I wouldn't have liked revues also as I thought I wasn't going to get into the "visual". But then I came across "Temptation!"...especially across Mizu/Snake and "La Cantata" (search the tube for Ardent Bolero) and I admitted to myself I was just in denial...I love the shine, the sparkles and I gave in to "temptation" (excuse the pun).
Am I still keen to fandom?
I still love Takarazuka. I am completely in love with Takachan and there are many current actresses I like a lot.
Soragumi is still my favest troupe, followed by Yukigumi (for Takachan started in it, for Komu/Oscar and for Chigi). However, I happen to like a lot also shows by other troupes and I pretty much like and admire all current Top Stars (Rantom on top of them all).
What I am not into anymore is the b&tching, back-stabbing, abusiveness and overall ignorance of this community. I have gone from "yeah! let's all spread the love" to being told awful things by people I loved also as friends to receiving a "shinde kudasai" message.
In other words, I'm keeping the important persons with me and they know they are important if I let them stay. The rest, frankly, I don't give a damn.
2. Do you have a Doctor? You know, the one you feel most attached to, no matter how much you love the others. If so, which one?
Not much into Doctors. But awfully in love with Neil Gaiman. Does it count? *flapping eyelashes*
3. If you could visit any country, no budget or time restrictions, where would you go?
No budget? No time restrictions? May I go to "no country"? I.e. my biggest travelling dream is to see Earth from Space.
But meanwhile, if I could afford it, I'd visit pretty much any place on this Planet. From Bali, to Mongolia, to Siberia, to Iceland. For one reason or another, there isn't a place I wouldn't be interested in seeing (this explains why I spend all my extra money travelling).
4. What is your favorite film?
Hard question. I am into Sci-Fi and Horror, so it would be too hard to pick one from these genres.
I'd say then that one of my most loved movies also comes from a genre I don't like (romantic comedies).
So, it's easy to pick "Breakfast at Tiffany's". I always darn cry in the end and I always darn laugh at the beginning. And when I'm lonely, I sing "Moonriver" to myself, as a lullaby.
5. If you had to eat one, and only one, type of cuisine (Japanese, Italian, etc.) for a year, what would you pick?
Answering as every Italian would.
I'd choose Italian. The only cuisine I can stand for a whole year without many changes is my mother's one XD
