So I have just completed my first practice circle and have come to share the results of said practice.

Equipment used:
-chalk 3 jumbo pieces
-long straight stick thing
-empty paint tin
-string
-screw and nuts

Tips: (here it gets image heavy....)

-start from the middle, seriously. Those 3 crossing lines will guide you through the rest of you drawing.

then move on to the outer circle....

-to draw relatively circular circles, attach a piece of string (as long as the radius of your circle) to the lid of an empty paint tin or similar tin and wiegh down the tin. Attach chalk to other end of string and walk in a circle.
-to do this I put a screw through the lid of the tin to make a small hole. I then put a bolt with a washer and nut     on either side of the lid, like this....

make sure you tighten the nut so it presses firmly against washer and lid. But leave some of the bolt protruding so as to tie your string around it.

-make sure your straight stick is long enough

-mark out all your lines and circles lightly before going back over them heavy handed. This means you can make mistakes that won't show up as well...

it will eventually turn out something like this....

this is a human transmutation circle by the by, it was surprisingly simple to do once I figured out starting with the outer circle was a bad idea and tried starting with the centre lines....
