woah...
Well, I haven't actually posted anything of real importance for a while, since before auditions actually, and I'm babysitting my brothers right now, and they're givin' me sass, so instead of calling Adam and venting like I would normally do under such circumstances, I shall update you all.
Well, auditions were fun! Me and Erin spent forever after school putting the Liberty Spikes in Matt's hair. But it was worth it, 'cause he looked amazing! Then Erin found some cans of coloured hair spray left over from Anyone Can Whistle this summer. SO we made the spikes red. And she gave him Sonny Moore red eye makeup. Then Adam showed up with several feet of chains that he then proceeded to hook onto his belt loops in various patterns. The Erin gave him some thick black eyeliner and a tiny bit of purple eyeshadow and he looked HOTT! Not that he doesn't already but...whatever. He had on tight jeans too...*drools*
The time before auditions when we're all waiting out in the foyer to be called into C.S.'s room is the worst. For a while I had my camera attached to my hand, then Erin took it and played around for a while and I got really nervous! SO me and Adam were both pacing back and forth opposite each other and we were driving everyone else mad. So the next time we passed each other Adam grabbed my arm, unhooked one of the chains from his belt, and attached it to mine. So then we could only walk a few feet apart from each other, so it was all good. And we sang Light My Candle from RENT. teehee
Anyways, long story short, the next day during homeroom we all went down to the Theatre "Show Case" (it used to be a trophy case, but we stole it during Peter Pan) to see the cast list. I got the part of the Messenger and a few little non-speaking Servant roles. I was pissed off, to say the least. But I got over it the next day. Adam was running down the hall hugging pretty much every person he knew. HE GOT MACBETH!!! Of course, no one really envies him all that much, he is 1/3 of the whole show. He's already nervous.
I feel much better about my part now though, 'cause I asked C.S. if I could play a whore, and he said yes!! So it's gonna be SOOO much fun! And I get to be the one who goes to Macbeth at the end of the play and tells him that the forest is moving, if you remember that part. So the rehearsal for that scene should be fun, it's just me, Adam, and Matt (he plays Seyton and Donalbain). *rubs hands together* I was also really happy that I get to work for Macbeth, 'cause then my costume is black and red. Red is his clan's colour. And our symbol is a dagger...*evil grin*
