my feet are cold
It's been a cold day thanks to Mr. Snow Miser. It hasn't been especially snowy, but the wind that's accompanied the few flakes we've got have made it down right cold. (The temps been between 32 - 34 all day.) I didn't wear a coat to my adoption event and when I ran in and out of stores afterwards so I guess the cold seeped into my bones. I better go turn on the mattress pad so the bed is nice and toasty when I go up. I think I'll sleep in the bed tonight instead of the recliner. I might even throw a dog or two up on the bed with me.
Anyone want a 10 yr old Collie/Golden mix? Her owner, after having her from 10 wks old to 10 yrs old has decided that it's too much bother to board her or have a neighbor come let her out and feed her while he travels so he surrendered her to us. She's a good girl, knows commands, is house trained, loves the car and does ok w/ the other dogs. She is a counter surfer though. In the not-quite-2 weeks that I've had her she's eaten 1/2 lbs of butter, a loaf of bread and some cake and pie. She very much enjoyed her plain hamburger and water from McD's this afternoon.
