2020 was not the great year we had all hoped for, quite the contrary in fact. But we are still here and we will hopefully still be here when 2022 rolls around. Celebrate all the good things that happened and remember that we will get through this.
With any luck, 2021 will be a great year and we'll beat the pandemic so our lives can go back to something resembling normal.
Get tested if you suspect you might have gotten the virus. Make sure to inform anyone you've been in contact with if your test is positive so they can get tested as well. Don't go to parties with more than the recommended number of people, same with crowded places. If you accidentally get into that situation then leave, for your own sake but also for the sake of your family and loved ones.
If you get Covid-19, please isolate yourself at home or somewhere safe, and don't go out. Keep in contact by phone, messages, and the Internet. It isn't the same as seeing someone in person, but limited contact is better than none at all.
I wish you all a Happy New Year, and I hope for the best for you and yours.
