(no subject)
So it has to have been the most talked about, eagerly awaited, highly anticaipated birthday ever!
And it was fanfuckingtastic. Right from midnight, when i was bombarded with texts, calls, myspace, lj comments and msn conversations.
Being 16 was so not overrated!
It has actually been the best day.
Opened all my presents in the morning, had to pretend to my dad and brothers everything i was given was a surprise (when really absoulotly everything was chosen by me)
My cousin Sam visited me during the day, we had *so* much to catch up on. We sat drinking tea talking about everything. It was *so* good.
My mum made dinner and i had a cake with candles that don't go out straight away. Oh, at 16 that still amuses me.
Changed for the 3rd time. I love getting new clothes.
Headed over to Rachel's. Made 80 quid, simply because I'm sixteen now. :)
Cath gave me her present that she had clearly spent so much time, money and effort on.
It is the best present anyone could have given me. If you knew about it and didn't tell me, thank you. The surprise was worth it hell alot better than new york :P!
And for those who didn't know, she made me what i like to call "This is your life" memory book.
I do love memory keepsakes and now i have a whole book full of them. Photos, gig tickets... Strange firework looking objects.
I spent the whole night looking at it.
It starts with my christening, through primary, secondary, gigs, boyfriends, friends, holidays and i especially liked the bit at the end dedicated to Gill :)
It was perfect. Thank you *sooo* much.
So all in all i made about 150 quid, London and T in the park totally covered :)
I got a new camera, :D
Masses from a good old topshop sale.
THREE new pairs of prettyful shoes.
Make up, sweets and flowers. :)
I am actually SO fucking lucky.
I'm off, I have an art prelim tomorrow morning. Open book though :)
Maybe I'll just have a wee look through my book again.
